SIMBIOSIS
UN BOSQUE DE COLORES EN EL MAR - Spending time by the sea gives everyone a sense of freedom and happiness, with oneself and with that which surrounds us at that precise moment. But... Do we have a balanced relationship with him? The aim of this project is to explore the relationship between humans and their natural environment, specifically with the Mediterranean sea. In order to make our interdependence more evident, a duality is generated between the artificial and the natural. It is intended to tangibilize, through its own discourse, a series of ceramic sculptures and plastic waste, recovered in specific coves of the island of Ibiza.
The pieces are inspired by the neptune balls and the posidonia, the longest and most polluted endemic plant in the Mediterranean. They are accompanied by an editorial fragment, with voices specific to each cove, where different points of view are reflected, through conversations with professionals from the marine world, and personal observations with photographic documentation of each micro exploration. A reflective and introspective dialogue is sought between the person and the different pieces, in order to propose a change of environmental responsibility.
Made with In Design. 160 p. Munken paper in five different textures (90 - 130 g).
